Best Practices for Home and Yard Care

As homeowners or renters, there are many things we can do around our residence to improve environmental quality.  We can minimize the use of chemicals, we can take care to dispose hazardous wastes properly, we can landscape in ways to benefit birds, butterflies and wildlife, we can landscape in a ways that conserve water, and we can maintain buffer zones that decrease the amount of polluted runoff that enters our streams and wetlands.  Explore the links below to learn more.  If you have a specific question, feel free to contact the PRCWA office.
